It has been a long off-season for Kevin Brown. After sitting out the 2011-12 following his transfer from Tulane, he played in just eight games in 2012-13 before being sidelined for the season with a broken foot, depriving the Cajuns one of their promising young players. Now ready to go following an off-season of conditioning that has helped him to become bigger and stronger, he is ready to help the Cajuns on the wing. His quickness and strength has helped him to become an effective scorer with the ball while his improved perimeter shooting ability has increased his scoring opportunities.

2013 Summer
•   Averaged 9.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists during Louisiana’s Spain tour.
•   Led the Cajuns in three-point shooting, going nine-for-19 (.474).

2012-13 (Sophomore)
•   Missed the majority of the season after suffering a broken foot at North Texas (12/1/12), requiring surgery.
•   Played in the first eight games of the year, making one start and averaging 15.8 minutes peer game.
•   Averaging 4.8 points and 1.6 rebounds a game, shooting a team-best .421 from three-point (8-19).
•   Came off the bench to score a career-high 14 points, all in the second half, at No. 15 Michigan State (11/25/12), making all three of his three-point attempts.
•   Started at Texas Southern (11/16/12), scoring nine points with four rebounds in a career-best 29 minutes of action.

2011-12 (redshirt)
•   Joined the team at the start of fall semester and sat out the season as a redshirt to meet NCAA transfer guidelines.

2010-11 (Tulane)
•   Played in 18 games for the Green Wave as a true-freshman, averaging 1.3 points and 0.4 rebounds in 6.4 minutes a game.
•   Set career highs for points (8), rebounds (2) and assists (2) in win over Auburn-Montgomery.
•   Originally signed with Central Florida out of high school but ended up at Tulane.

High School
•   Named district MVP as a senior at Alief Elsik High, playing for coach Tim Martin.
•   Served as team captain as both a junior and senior, receiving team MVP honors both years.
•   Received all-city and all-region kudos as a senior while also being an all-district choice as both a junior and senior.
•   Averaged 16.0 pioints, 5.1 assists and 2.1 steals as a junior
•   Nominated to play in the 2010 McDonald’s Prep All-America game.
