2022-23 Season (Junior)
In second season as starter at the point increased her totals as a Cajun to 117 assists against 92 turnovers over 54 games ... dished out 50-plus assists and scored 200-plus points for the second straight season ... averaged 7.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and shot a career-high 75 percent (78-of-104) at the free throw line ... overall free throw percentage with Louisiana moved to 72 percent and increased free throw makes to 147 ... turned in 10 double-figure scoring games and handed out multiple assists 16 times including seven occurrences of three or more.
2021-22 Season (Sophomore)
Louisiana’s starting point guard during the season, Rice averaged 9.2 points and 4.0 rebounds in 30.5 minutes per contest…Led the team with 62 assists and 31 steals on the year…She ranked 30th in the league in scoring, while her 2.5 assists per contest was good for 13th in the Sun Belt… Had five games with 5+ assists and 13 games with 10+ points…Scored in double figures 13 times during the season, including a career-high 17 points against both UT Arlington (Dec. 30) and Troy…Dished out a career-high seven assists in the win over Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Prior to Louisiana (Alabama)
Played two seasons at Alabama, seeing action in 33 games for the Crimson Tide and averaging 3.2 points and 1.3 boards in her career...She made eight appearances as a freshman during the 2019-20 campaign and notched a career-high six points in her team's win over Vanderbilt...As a sophomore, Rice played in 25 games and helped the Tide advance to the Second Round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament...Contributing 3.6 points and 1.5 rebounds per game last year, she boasted four double-digit scoring performances, including a season-high 12 points against Georgia on Feb. 4...During the NCAA Tournament, Rice played 16 minutes against No. 7/8 Maryland, scoring five points and notching an assist and a steal.
