High School: One of the top players in Mississippi during his prep career, leading Provine High School to the Class 6A state semifinals each of the past three seasons ... averaged 24.6 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as a senior in earning second team all-state honors under head coach Otis Gaines ... a two-time All-Metro selection ... was a third team all-state choice after a junior season that saw him average 18.4 points and 10.9 rebounds per game and was a preseason Dandy Dozen selection entering the 2014-15 campaign, a listing of the top 12 players in Mississippi ... appeared in the North vs. South Mississippi All-Star Game and was picked to compete in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.
