2011 (Junior): Played in 11 games on the defensive line, earning a start in the season opener at Oklahoma State (9/3). . . did not play against both Nicholls State (9/17) and North Texas (10/15). . . made seven tackles (four solo) with 2.5 tackles-for-loss (-10 yards), a quarterback sack (-9 yards) and a forced fumble. . . had his lone sack and forced fumble in the final drive at FIU (9/24) to help stop a potential game-winning drive. . . had a season-best two tackles at Arkansas State (11/12), including a quarterback sack. . . also made one tackle in five other games. . . earned third letter.

High School: First team all-district choice as a senior at McKinley B.R., playing for coach Robert Signater. . . recorded 44 tackles, 15 tackles-for-loss, 12.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries as a senior. . . played in Red Stick All-Star Football Game. . . started career at tight end, then played final season as a defensive end. . .
