2001: Was one of Lady Cajuns’ most consistent offensive threats...Named first-team All-Sun Belt Conference...Reached base safely in all but six games...Led team and Sun Belt Conference with 60 runs scored and also had a conference-best 36 stolen bases...Enjoyed two lengthy hitting streaks this year, including career-best 14-gamer from Feb. 18 through March 10...Also had 11-game streak from March 24 through April 14...Made just one error...Tied career-high with four hits against Nicholls State March 24...Was named SBC Player of the Week April 23 after going 8-for-14 in four-game sweep at Western Kentucky...Also scored a run in Lady Cajuns’ 2-1 win over fifth-ranked LSU April 18...Has 16 multi-hit games.

2000: A second-team All-Sun Belt selection…After hitting in the two-hole most of the season, came on strong as the leadoff hitter over team’s last 14 games…Had 70-game errorless streak snapped on Feb. 25 against Florida A&M…After average slipped to .286 on March 26, recovered to raise her average 56 points over the season’s final month-and-a-half…Speedy centerfielder was a perfect 17-for-17 in stolen bases and has recorded a 90 percent success rate in career (36-for-40)…Set new career high with four hits at Northwestern State on Feb. 29 and equaled it on April 26 at McNeese in a 4-for-4, 3-run, 2-RBI performance…Knocked home career-high three runs in 35-1 rout of Southern at Lady Cajun Park on March 30.

1999: Another freshman who made huge impact in inaugural season...Started every game for Ragin' Cajuns in center field...After batting second for much of season, became leadoff hitter last 25 games of season and reached base in 19 of 25 games...Led team with 20 stolen bases and was only caught four times...Set freshman school record with 66 runs scored on season and was only one run away from tying mark set by Tiffany Clark in ‘99...Also tied school record with Stephanie DeFeo for most hit by pitches (8)... Scored nine runs over four-game stretch from March 25-April 9...Finished fifth on team with .325 average and was fourth wth .410 on base percentage...Also paced team with 13 sacrifice bunts...Enjoyed error-free freshman season, recording 87 putouts and 10 assists...Robbed No. 4 Washington of potential game-winning home run March 20 crashing through the fence...Had six three-hit games (Jacksonville State Feb. 21, No. 11 Oklahoma Feb. 28, Fla. International March 24, Cal State Fullerton April 10 and Nicholls State April 6 and 20...When leading off an inning, hit team-best .500...Five of her six RBIs on season came with two outs

High School: Won four letters in softball while at Columbia Central High...Played in left and center field and also had stint at shortstop...Lady Lions won district twice during her four-year tenure while she was named District MVP and All Mid-State...Hit .400 during freshman year and finished career with .459 average as senior...Was also standout basketball player, being named first team All-State and All-Region as a guard during senior year.

Personal: Born March 27, 1980...Parents are Ralph and Delores Alexander...Has one younger brother...Majoring in speech language pathology with aspirations to become a speech language pathologist...Favorite TV show is Will and Grace...In high school, was only allowed to hit
right-handed...Favorite role model is Tennessee women’s basketball coach Pat Summit...Also considered Tennessee before joining the Lady Cajuns.
