Pre-Louisiana-Lafayette: Lettered for two seasons at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi under head coach Ronnie Arrow...As a freshman saw action in 27 of the Islanders 28 games...Finished second on the team in field goal percentage (50.7), third in offensive rebounds (38) and fifth in steals (30)...As a sophomore was second on the team in scoring with a 12.2 average...Finished the 2001-02 season shooting at a 50.2 clip...Led the Islanders with 6.9 rebounds per game...Started 24 of 27 games as a sophomore.

High School: Lettered for head coach Wayne Howard at Elkins High School...Averaged 18.5 points per game, eight rebounds, four blocks and six steals per game his senior season....Was named to the All-District 20-5A team...Served as team captain.
