Fall 2025 Schedule Set for Louisiana Volleyball

Pair of tournaments included in the 13-match home slate at E.K. Long Gym
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Volleyball has released its 2025 schedule. The Ragin' Cajuns are at home for the season-opening weekend once again this fall, and are scheduled to play 13 matches total at E.K. Long Gym.
Louisiana has one preseason preview event, holding the annual Red and White Scrimmage at E.K. Long Gym on Saturday, August 23 at 1:00 p.m.
The Cajuns officially open the 2025 season with the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic from Friday-Sunday, August 29-31 at E.K. Long Gym. The squad kicks off the home schedule, and begins regular season play, taking on Texas Southern on August 29, then faces Tarleton State and New Orleans to close the opening weekend.
The lone road tournament follows in Nacogdoches, Texas with a three-day event hosted by SFA. Opponents include host-SFA (September 4), Sam Houston (September 5) and Abilene Christian (September 6).
Non-conference play concludes with a two-match road trip to the state of Mississippi for stops at Alcorn (September 11) and Ole Miss (September 12) followed by the second home tournament at E.K. Long Gym with the Ragin' Cajuns Classic set for Friday-Saturday, September 19-20.
The Sun Belt Conference slate mirrors the past several years with consecutive matches against the same opponent each weekend. The Ragin' Cajuns open up conference play at Texas State on September 26-27.
Three of the next four SBC series are at E.K. Long Gym: Louisiana meets reigning SBC East Division champ App State in the conference home opener (October 3-4), then after a road trip to Southern Miss (October 10-11) it's back-to-back home series against Troy (October 16-17) and South Alabama (October 24-25).
A visit to defending SBC West champ Arkansas State (October 30-November 1) takes the Cajuns into November. The regular season concludes with a home series against ULM (November 6-7) followed by a road series at Georgia Southern (November 13-14).
The SBC Tournament will once again be held in Foley, Alabama, with the Top 5 in each division qualifying.
