Louisiana travels to Natchitoches for the first of five fall events
NATCHITOCHES, Louisiana – The Louisiana women's tennis team opens the fall season this weekend with the Lady Demon Invitational in Natchitoches, Louisiana, hosted by Northwestern State.
Four Cajuns are set to appear in the two-day tournament, with returners Karolina Skowronska, Nina Krecklenberg, Angie Berrat, and Jenaila Prulla set to play. The quartet combined to win 23 singles contests last spring for Louisiana. Berrat led the Cajuns last season with nine wins while Krecklenberg was second on the team with eight.
Players will compete as individuals with no team scores. Joining Louisiana and host Northwestern State are ULM, McNeese, and Tyler Junior College.
