Men’s Basketball Releases 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule

Louisiana’s non-conference slate includes four in-state foes at home
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana men's basketball team announced the non-conference portion of their schedule on Friday. The schedule features eight home games, with four against in-state opponents, along with one exhibition game.
The season gets underway on November 4 against Kent State as a previously announced contest in the MAC-SBC Challenge. The Ragin' Cajuns remain at home over the weekend where they'll host UT Dallas. Louisiana then takes off for their only true road game in 2024 when they head to the Fertitta Center to face Houston.
The Cajuns return home to face another school from Houston in Rice before the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The MTE begins on November 22 against Liberty before a second-round matchup against either Kansas State or George Washington. The month of November ends with a Saturday contest against Nicholls at home.
Louisiana is in the CAJUNDOME the entire month of December beginning with long-time rival Louisiana Tech on December 7. That contest is followed by games against Southeastern Louisiana on the 11th and Lamar on the 14th. The Ragin' Cajuns close the calendar year by hosting McNeese on December 22. Louisiana opens the year with an exhibition against Louisiana Christian on October 30.
