>> The visit to Starkville marks the lone two road games for the Cajuns over the season's first 13 days (team plays nine of first 11 games at home).
>> The twinbill with the Bulldogs is the next pair of a total of 15 games Louisiana is scheduled to play against Power 5 foes in the 2024 season.
>> Louisiana and Mississippi State meet for the first time since February 2013. It's the first contests held in Starkville since May 1999.

>> Louisiana now has a veteran-laden roster with Gerry Glasco's No. 1 recruiting Class of 2022 now entering their junior campaign, plus the key offseason transfer additions of five upperclassmen.
