Louisiana's Cambre, Gillie Earn All-America Honors

Cambre named PFF College Football's top special teams player; Gillie honored by CFN
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football tandem of Dalen Cambre and AJ Gillie earned postseason honors earlier this week, each named 2024 All-Americans by national publications.
Cambre earned honors from both PFF College Football and College Football Network, and Gillie earned honorable mention All-America notice from College Football Network.
Cambre, a Lafayette native and former St. Thomas More product, was selected as a first-team All-American by PFF College Football and a second-team pick by College Football Network as a special teams player. The senior wide receiver served as the Ragin' Cajuns primary holder for 2024 Lou Groza Award winner Kenneth Almendares while recording nine tackles on Louisiana's kickoff and punt coverage.
Gillie was one of two players on the Ragin' Cajuns offensive line to start all 13 games this season. The Natchitoches, La., was a key leader on an offensive line that enabled Louisiana to rank fifth in FBS programs for tackles for loss allowed (3.58), 18th in total offense, and 44th in rushing offense.
