Louisiana Volleyball Holding Red and White Scrimmage at E.K. Long Gym

LAFAYETTE – Fans of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball team will get their first glimpse of the 2022 squad on Wednesday, August 17 when the annual Red and White Scrimmage is held at Earl K. Long Gym.

First serve is set for 6:00 p.m., with competition in the intrasquad scrimmage lasting an hour, followed by a post-match Meet and Greet with team members.

Wednesday's event is also the first opportunity for fans to view the stunning interior renovations which have transformed Earl K. Long Gym into one of the premier volleyball-specific venues in the country.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Concessions, consisting of a select variety of drink and food items and including beer, will be available for purchase in the lobby area of the gym.

NEW PARKING GUIDELINES
Due to changes in parking zones on main campus, fans should now park in the designated ParkMobile areas (to view map click here) which includes Zone 7 (E.K. Long/Billeaud Hall) on East St. Mary Boulevard, Zone 8 (Edith Garland Dupre Library) on Rex Street, floors 1-3 of the Girard Park Tower on East Lewis Street, and Student Union on McKinley Street.

The first floor of Olivier Parking Tower on McKinley Street is free to park on a first come, first serve basis only.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Ragin' Cajuns official home opener occurs Labor Day Weekend when the squad hosts the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic from September 2-3 in Earl K. Long Gym.
