Louisiana Athletics Announces Community Honda Outstanding Graduates for Spring 2022

Louisiana Volleyball’s Brianna Franklin and Louisiana Men’s Tennis’ Kacper Dworak recognized for academic achievments
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Volleyball's Brianna Franklin and Louisiana Men's Tennis' Kacper Dworak have been recognized as the Community Honda Outstanding Graduates for the 2022 Spring semester.

The award is given to one male and one female student-athlete who went above and beyond in the classroom in the most recent semester.
Franklin played in nine matches for the Ragin' Cajuns during the 2021 season before injury sidelined her for the remainder of the year. Despite that obstacle, she was a beacon of positivity for the squad and was named the University's Homecoming Queen.

The Richmond, Texas, native graduated with a degree in biology and earned Cum Laude honors with an overall GPA of 3.62. She was a nominee for Outstanding Graduate in the College of Sciences.

Dworak played a key role in the Cajuns spending the majority of the 2022 season in the national rankings and helped his team to a 17-6 overall record and a 4-2 mark in Sun Belt play. The Lodz, Poland, native went 9-10 in singles play and 9-9 in doubles action on the year.

He earned Summa Cum Laude honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA after earning his degree in Petroleum Engineering. Dworak was a nominee for Oustanding Graduate in the College of Engineering.
