Mardi Gras Parking For Baseball, Softball Announced

Designated general admission parking available at Gate 5 of Cajun Field
LAFAYETTE – With Mardi Gras parades and the Lafayette Mardi Gras Carnival kicking into high gear this weekend around the Cajun Field complex, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Department of Athletics announced parking options for fans attending events at both Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park and M.L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park.
Beginning Friday, free designated general parking for fans attending either the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational or baseball's season-opening series against Missouri State will be available on the southeast side of Cajun Field at Gate 5 (Cajundome Boulevard and Souvenir Gate). ADA parking will be available for fans on a first-come, first-served basis on the East Side of Cajun Field, with shuttles running to both Russo Park and Lamson Park.
Reserved parking for softball fans at Lamson Park will be available on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday only.
Additional parking for baseball and softball fans will be available at the UL Print Shop (500 Coliseum Rd.), along with a park-and-shuttle service from the UL Health Sciences Campus (611 St. Landry St.).
Baseball fans can access Russo Park throughout the weekend via the southeast gate of Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium and exit through the southwest gate.
The Louisiana Softball team will play five games during the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational, beginning with contests against Ole Miss (1:30 p.m.) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4 p.m.). Action continues Saturday with games against Ole Miss (1:30 p.m.) and Prairie View (4 p.m.), before concluding on Sunday against A&M-Corpus Christi (1 p.m.).
Louisiana Baseball will officially open its 2026 season against Missouri State on Friday at 2 p.m. The three-game series continues on Saturday at 2 p.m., before concluding on Sunday at 1 p.m.

• Park-and-shuttle service from the UL Health Sciences Campus begins at 10 a.m. (611 St. Landry St.).
• Park-and-walk available from the UL Print Shop/Intramural Fields (500 Coliseum Rd.).
Saturday, February 14
(Baseball vs. Missouri State; Softball – Ragin' Cajuns Invitational)
• Reserved parking at Lamson Park (Lot A and ADA) will be closed all day.
• Designated general admission parking at Cajun Field opens at 9 a.m. (enter from Souvenir Gate).
• Park-and-shuttle service from the UL Health Sciences Campus begins at 10 a.m. (611 St. Landry St.).
• Park-and-walk available from the UL Print Shop/Intramural Fields (500 Coliseum Rd.).
Sunday, February 15
(Baseball vs. Missouri State; Softball – Ragin' Cajuns Invitational)
• Reserved parking available at Lamson Park (Lot A and ADA).
• Designated general admission parking at Cajun Field opens at 8:30 a.m.
• Park-and-shuttle service from the UL Health Sciences Campus begins at 11 a.m. (611 St. Landry St.).
• Park-and-walk available from the UL Print Shop/Intramural Fields (500 Coliseum Rd.).
