Softball's Road Doubleheader at SFA Postponed

Mardi Gras Day trip to Nacogdoches to be made up later in the season; date still yet to be determined
LAFAYETTE – The No. 15-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team's trip to Nacogdoches, Texas for a doubleheader at SFA, that was scheduled for Mardi Gras day (Tuesday, March 1), has been postponed.
The Ragin' Cajuns-Lumberjacks matchup is being put on hold due to issues with field conditions at the SFA Softball Field.
The doubleheader is expected to be rescheduled for a later date in the season. Additional information will be released when available.
UP NEXT FOR LOUISIANA
Monday's schedule adjustment gives the Ragin' Cajuns additional time off before resuming play on Thursday, March 3 at 6:00 p.m. with a matchup against No. 21 LSU at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park.
The contest with the Tigers begins the LSU Crossover event which continues Friday, March 4 at Lamson Park with games against Central Connecticut State (2:30 p.m.) and Louisiana Tech (5:00 p.m.) and concludes Saturday, March 5 at Tiger Park in Baton Rouge for another 6:00 p.m. bout with LSU.
All of Louisiana's games in the LSU Crossover event can be viewed on ESPN+ (Saturday's game in Baton Rouge requires SEC Network package subscription) and can be heard locally on ESPN Lafayette 103.3 FM and 1420 AM.
