Louisiana Student-Athletes to Participate in Reading in Red Tour

Fifty Ragin’ Cajuns student-athletes will read to local elementary school students
LAFAYETTE, La. – Fifty Louisiana student-athletes will take part in the Reading in Red Tour at local elementary schools Tuesday.

The Ragin' Cajuns will begin the day at Cathedral Carmel Catholic School before reading to students at Our Lady of Fatima School. The day will conclude at Ascension Episcopal School.

While at the schools, the student-athletes will interact with the children and read the book "Born to be a Ragin' Cajun".

The Ragin' Cajuns pride themselves on community service and were recently awarded with the Sun Belt Conference's Community Service Award.
