On Wednesday, the Ragin' Cajuns released their 2021-22 non-conference schedule, completing the full-season slate after the conference contests were unveiled in July.

Louisiana begins head coach Bob Marlin's 12th season at the helm on Tuesday, Nov. 9, versus West Florida at the Cajundome.

The team's Sun Belt schedule features home matchups with Arkansas State, Little Rock, UT Arlington, Texas State, Georgia State and Georgia Southern. The Ragin' Cajuns will play two conference games a week with the contests played on Thursdays and Saturdays.

In total, the league portion features five home Saturday games at the Cajundome beginning on Thursday, Jan. 6 against Arkansas State.

Louisiana finished 17-9 overall last season and was 10-7 in Sun Belt Conference play. The Ragin' Cajuns return nine letterwinners and three starters from last year's team highlighted by senior Dou Gueye and reigning Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year Theo Akwuba.

The Ragin' Cajuns brought in a highly-touted newcomer class keyed by a pair of Lafayette natives – Greg Williams, Jr. (St. John's) and Jalen Dalcourt (San Jose State). Arizona transfer Jordan Brown – a consensus prep All-American and Ragin' Cajuns legacy – and Creighton transfer Antwann Jones.

Louisiana also inked a pair of talented freshmen who have Lafayette roots in Joe Charles (Carencro) and Carter Domingue (St. Thomas More).
