New game day experience initiative unveiled for Ragin’ Cajuns home events
LAFAYETTE - Implementing exciting new methods of fan outreach has remained a constant focus of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Department of Athletics over the past calendar year. With that emphasis in mind, the department has announced the Louisiana Lagniappe program, a new and exclusive way to give fans the best game day experience.
This initiative will allow diehard Ragin' Cajuns fans and even first-time supporters to add a little something extra to their game day experience, which will include recognition of big moments and milestones.
"One of the greatest resources we have is the passion and energy of Cajun Nation," Nico Yantko, Deputy Director of Athletics/External Operations said. "We hope the Louisiana Lagniappe program will bring additional special moments to the game day experience for Ragin' Cajuns fans. Our marketing and external engagement team is excited to bring many new ideas to the fans."
Beginning now, fans will have access to added value experiences and free giveaways available at every home football and select men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball games. These include game day stickers, spirit buttons and first game certificates.
Fans are also able to purchase different game day experience elements and VIP opportunities for the remaining baseball and softball games, as well as the football spring game.
Current Louisiana Lagniappe packages include custom videoboard messages, in-game birthday shoutouts, and more. Prices range from $10-40. More details on these elements can be found at RaginCajuns.com/Lagniappe.
