Ragin’ Cajuns Drop Second Match of the Season to Rice

HOUSTON – Louisiana Women's Tennis dropped its final match of its Texas swing to Rice, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon.
Floriane Picaut played a tough singles match at the No. 1 spot in the lineup before Rice won the overall team match, playing Smirnova close, 6-4, 3-2. Clara Mantaux battled through a 6-0 defeat in her first singles set to finish 4-4 before the match concluded.
In doubles, Babette Burgersdijk and Lucie Raquin kept it respectful at, 3-4, before Rice clinched the doubles point.
