Flynn's 71 Leads Louisiana At The All-American

Weather claims second round with three teams shooting below par
HUMBLE, Texas – Charlie Flynn posted a bogey-free performance on the back nine en route to an overall 1-under-par 71 and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team slipped three spots to a fifth-place tie after the second round of the 2020 All-American Intercollegiate on Monday at the Golf Club of Houston.
The final round of the 54-hole tournament will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Louisiana, which finished with a 10-over-par 298 to finish at 576 after 36 holes, will tee off beginning at 8:45 a.m. from the No. 1 tee. The Ragin' Cajuns will be paired with ULM and co-host Rice in Tuesday's final round.

With its round delayed by over an hour due to fog, Louisiana came out the gates slow before recovering on the back nine.
After recording a combined 14 of 21 birdies on the front nine in Monday's round of 10-under-278, the Ragin' Cajuns managed a pair of birdies through the first nine hole with Bjorn Gudjonsson starting off with a birdie at No. 1 and Flynn at No. 5.
Flynn, who shot a 2-over 38 on the front nine, rebounded on the back getting a birdie at No. 10 before back-to-back birdies at No. 12 and 13.
Jack Tolson overcame a sluggish start for the Ragin' Cajuns, where he was 3-over through the first four holes to finish with a 3-over 75. Peter Hinnant recorded a 3-over 75 for Louisiana with Gudjonsson shooting a 5-over 77 and Hudson Dubinski an 81.
Louisiana finished in a tie with ULM for fifth in the 13-team field with first-day lead Sam Houston State maintaining its lead. The Bearkats, one of three teams to finish below par for the round, shot a 1-under 287 to finish at 564 after 36 holes and four strokes ahead of No. 8 Wake Forest.
UTSA finished the second round in a tie third at 573 with Rice, which posted the round's low score at 5-under 283. ULM (576) and Louisiana rounded out the top five with No. 30 South Carolina (582), Louisiana Tech (585), No. 32 Houston (586) and Lamar (590) rounding out the top 10.
Sam Houston's Luis Carrera, who is competing individually, shot a 6-under 66 to finish at 10-under 134 and claim the lead after two rounds with Alex Fitzpatrick of Wake Forest four shots back at 138.
