Parking for Upcoming Maryland Baseball Series During Mardi Gras Festivities

LAFAYETTE – With Mardi Gras excitement taking over the Louisiana Athletics Complex, parking will be altered for the upcoming weekend series against Maryland.

Fans attending Louisiana Baseball vs. Maryland games (Friday, 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, 2 p.m.; Sunday, 1 p.m.) will be able to show tickets to parking attendants at Gates 2 and 4 to gain access to General Parking Lots, located on Bertrand Drive and West Congress Street, respectively.

Fans are reminded that single-game and season tickets for the 2019 Louisiana Baseball season are on-sale and can be purchased in-person at the Louisiana Ticket Office at the Cajundome, by phone at (337) 265-2357 or online by clicking here.

Handicap accessible parking on Friday and Sunday will be in the standard locations on the east side of Russo Park. However, on Saturday, all handicap accessible parking will shift to the lot directly east of Cajun Field, as Reinhardt Drive will be blocked off due to parades at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. A shuttle cart will be available on Saturday for those parking to the east of Cajun Field for transport to Russo Park.

All members of the media will be granted access to the General Parking Lots by showing a valid season credential to the parking attendant and specifying that you are covering the game. Media members can access these lots through Gates 2 and 4, as well.

Please note that parking during Mardi Gras is not controlled by Louisiana Athletics, but by the Southwest Louisiana Mardi Gras Association.

All who plan trips to see Louisiana Baseball in action should take note that traffic and congestion occurs frequently during Mardi Gras, and travel times will be impacted. Please plan additional time into travel schedules.
