Louisiana wraps up fall schedule Oct. 28-30 at Hoakelei CC Invitational
CARROLLTON, Texas – Hudson Dubinski posted the lowest score of the day for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Men's Golf team, firing a 5-over-par 77, as the challenging Maridoe Intercollegiate concluded on Tuesday at the Maridoe Golf Club.

Louisiana posted a team score of 319 on the par-72, 7,554-yard course that is rated as one of the toughest in the country. The Ragin' Cajuns concluded the 54-hole event with a team score of 931 with No. 12-ranked SMU claiming the team title at 882.

Micah Goulas recorded Louisiana's top individual 54-hole performance (74-77-80-231), finishing in a tie for 29th place. Dubinski (83-73-77-233) finished in a tie for 40th for the Ragin' Cajuns with Bjorn Gudjonsson (73-78-83-234) finishing a tie for 45th, Jack Tolson (80-79-78-237) in a tie for 52nd and Peter Hinnant (78-85-83-246) in a tie for 64th.

The Mustangs carded a team score of 3-over-291 – one of two scores below 300 on the final day – and claim a 24-stroke victory over San Francisco (906) and No. 15-ranked Texas A&M (906). Host North Texas (908) placed fourth overall in the team standings with Arkansas State (909) finishing fifth.

SMU's Noah Griffin claimed medalist honors after finishing with a 54-hole score of 1-under 215. Bo Peng of No. 2-ranked Washington finished second overall at 2-over-218 with the SMU tandem of Justin Thompson (219) and Mac Meissner (220) and Sam Choi of New Mexico (221) rounding out the top five.

Louisiana will wrap up the fall portion of its 2019-20 schedule on Oct. 28-30 when it is part of a 20-team field at the Hoakalei CC Invitational in Ewa Beach, Hawai'i.
