Volleyball Sets Schedule for 2018 Summer Camps

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball program is set to host its annual summer camps in June and July on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus.

Head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot and her staff has set the following schedule for the 2018 Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball Summer Camps:
Youth Skills Camp                                 June 25-27, 2018 (Earl K. Long Gym)
Junior High Skills Camp                      June 25-27, 2018 (Bourgeois Hall)
High School Elite Skills Camp            July 25-27, 2018 (Earl K. Long Gym)
Team Competition Camp                     July 28-29, 2018 (Bourgeois Hall)

Interested participants are encouraged to register online and download the camp manual to access detailed information for each camp offering. The links can be found on the volleyball camps page located at RaginCajuns.com/VolleyballCamps.

The Youth Skills Camp is recommended for individuals entering grades 2-6 and the Junior High Skills Camp is focused on grades 7-8. Both camps are set for June 25-27.

Camps in July are geared toward high school athletes. The High School Elite Skills Camp (July 25-27) is for individuals entering the ninth grade or higher, with high school volleyball experience. The Team Competition Camp (July 28-29) offers a competitive tournament format for freshmen, junior varsity and varsity teams.

All camp activities will occur at Earl K. Long Gym (500 E. St. Mary Blvd.) or Bourgeois Hall (225 Cajundome Blvd.). The location of each camp and complete schedule is available in the manual which can be downloaded from the camp page.
