Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot to Present at the 2018 AVCA Convention

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot will be presenting at the 2018 American Volleyball Coaches Association Convention (AVCA) being held Dec. 12-16 in Minneapolis, Minn.
The annual event is the largest gathering of volleyball coaches in the world for education, networking, and social events.
Mazeitis-Fontenot will be one of approximately 100 presenters from across the globe. Industry leaders and coaches from every level of the sport for both genders in indoor and beach will converge on the Minneapolis Convention Center to instruct and learn from their peers.
On Dec. 14, Mazeitis-Fontenot will be presenting a session on the topic of Real Life Insights on Driving a Winning Team Culture alongside Bo Hanson, the director of Athlete Assessments and an international coaching consultant. The session will offer a look at lessons learned and key success factors in driving teams to new levels of success.
She will also and have an opportunity to attend sessions led by USA Women's and Men's National Team Head Coaches Karch Kiraly and John Speraw.
Due to her participation in the AVCA mentor program, in which she is currently mentoring Florida Atlantic assistant coach Alyssa Warren, Mazeitis-Fontenot will be eligible to attend a special coaching clinic with Kiraly.
With over 2,500 coaches, administrators, and exhibitors expected to be in attendance, this convention is widely regarded as a must-attend in the volleyball community.
