LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis wraps up its 2018 fall schedule with a visit to Monroe, Louisiana, to take part in the Warhawk Fall Tournament on the campus of ULM which starts on Friday, Nov. 2 and wraps up the next day on Saturday, Nov. 3.
FORMAT AND TIMING: The tournament will consist of five schools, hosting ULM, Louisiana Tech, Alcorn State, Central Arkansas and the Ragin' Cajuns. Things will get rolling on Friday, at 8:30 a.m. and on Saturday the action will start at 10 a.m. There will be four flights of singles, and two flights of doubles throughout the tournament. Â
CAJUNS IN SINGLES: In Flight One, Louisiana freshman Hoda Habib will get things started with Louisiana Tech's Nadja Manjon. While on the other end of the bracket sophomore Dana Radovanovic will face off with Central Arkansas' Chunxi Xin.
Flight Two will feature one member from Louisiana with junior Marina Rodriguez-Garcia taking on Mei Ishimura from Central Arkansas. While in the third flight, sophomore Morgan Forshag will play Alcorn State's Klavdija Bukovec and freshman Ai Noa Fabre will be facing Rada Manataweewat from Central Arkansas.
In Flight Four, which will be played in a round-robin format, junior Milena Achlamov will be working her way through, starting with Qili Ma from Central Arkansas.
CAJUNS IN DOUBLES: Flight One of doubles junior Clara Mantaux and Radovanovic will take on Central Arkansas' duo of Nonoyama and Van Heerden. In the same flight, sophomore Floriane Picaut will partner with Garcia to take on Louisiana Tech's pairing of Chen and Oravcova.
Much like the fourth flight of singles, the second flight of doubles will be a round-robin and Louisiana's Forshag and Fabre will work their way through that flight.
