Cajuns Close Home Schedule Against Incarnate Word, Prairie View

Cajuns wrap up regular season next week vs. UTA, ULM
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team wraps up its 2017 home schedule this weekend when it hosts a pair of matches beginning Friday at Cajun Courts.
Louisiana (6-8) will face Incarnate Word on Friday at 3:30 p.m. before facing Prairie View in the home finale on Saturday at 5 p.m. Admission to both matches is free with live results available at CajunStats.com.
The Ragin' Cajuns posted a 4-0 victory against Sun Belt Conference foe Arkansas State in their last match last Sunday in Jonesboro, Ark. Abby Johnson, Carla Ortega and India Shiaelis each posted singles victories for Louisiana with Shiaelis and Alexandra Way clinching the doubles point for the Ragin' Cajuns with a win at No. 3.
Johnson has posted a team-best 6-3 record in dual matches this season for Louisiana with Ortega recording a 5-5 record in singles play. Way, the team's lone senior, has won her last four decisions at No. 1 singles for Louisiana with the doubles team of Ortega and Kelly Drew posting a 4-0 record in doubles.
UIW (4-14) snapped an eight-match losing streak after posting a 4-3 victory over Nicholls State last Sunday. Prairie View (6-22) dropped its third match in its last four decisions with a 4-3 setback to Texas A&M-Kingsville last Saturday.
