FOR STARTERS
Louisiana will put its perfect record on the line once again this weekend when it goes to Houston for the second time in three weeks, this time to take part in the Flo Hyman Classic at the University of Houston. The Ragin' Cajuns went 3-0 in the Bayou City two weeks ago at Rice, and will face another tough field with perennial Summit League contender Oral Roberts, one of the top teams in the Southland in Sam Houston State, as well as the host Cougars.

NEXT WEEK
Louisiana heads back to Houston next weekend for the Flo Hyman Classic, hosted by the University of Houston. Matches with Sam Houston State and Oral Roberts will precede a meeting with the host Cougars in what will serve as the final tune-up for the Cajuns before Sun Belt Conference play begins on Sept. 17 against South Alabama.
QUICK HITS
• Louisiana is off to a 7-0 start, the third-best start of 3-0 or better in program history. The 1990 squad had a 13-match win streak to open the season, and the 1986 team had an eight-match streak.
• Senior setter Andrea Hole was named MVP of the Sawyer Camillo Classic over the weekend, her second tournament MVP in as many weeks. The senior from Oslo, Norway, averaged 10.50 assists per set for the tournament, picking up a pair of double-doubles and directing Louisiana to a .259 hitting percentage as a team.
• Sophomore Chanelle Gardner and freshman Stacey Reilly were also named to the all-tournament team. Gardner led the Ragin' Cajuns for the weekend with an average of 3.08 kills and 1.00 blocks per set in the four matches, hitting .387 for the tournament. Meanwhile, Reilly had a pair of double-doubles and averaged 2.79 kills and 3.00 digs per set.
• Following its 4-0 weekend, the Ragin' Cajuns are now 18-2 in home non-conference matches under seventh-year head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot.
• Senior Caitlyn Auxilien picked up 52 digs over the weekend, giving her 1,370 for her career. She currently ranks fifth all-time at Louisiana, and needs 118 more digs to move past Gina Calegari into fourth all-time.
