FOR STARTERS
With just over two weeks remaining in the season, the Ragin' Cajuns hit the road this weekend for a pair of matches that could go a long way in determining the field in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Tournament. Louisiana currently sits in ninth place with just five matches left in the season, a half game back of Friday's opponent - South Alabama.

The Jaguars hold that slim edge for the tournament's final spot, thanks in large part to a 3-2 win over the Cajuns in the SBC opener on Nov. 17 at Earl K. Long Gym. A win on Friday against USA would knot the season series for the Cajuns, while a Jaguar win would push its lead to 1.5 games and give them the tiebreak edge with four matches left in the season for UL.

Louisiana will have a quick turnaround with its second weekend match slated for Saturday night at Troy. The Trojans enter the weekend at just 1-14 in league play; however, six of their matches have been stretched to five sets, including a 3-2 loss to the Cajuns on Oct. 11 in Lafayette.

Fans are encouraged to follow @UL_Volleyball on Twitter for in-game updates, and @ULRaginCajuns for all Ragin' Cajun Athletics updates. Live stats will be available for each match of the tournament, while a live video stream will be available for the Ragin' Cajun's match against Houston.

NEXT WEEK
The Ragin' Cajuns return home to wrap up their season series with UT Arlington on Nov. 14, the only match on the schedule for the week.
