Women’s Tennis Opens Fall Season at Big Easy Tennis Classic

NEW ORLEANS – The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team gets the 2013 fall season underway on Friday at the Big Easy Tennis Classic, hosted by UNO at the University Tennis Center.
 
"The team has been working really hard and its time to play some competitive match play," head coach Greg Harkins said. "There will be some quality play this weekend, and we are excited to get the fall season in gear."
 
Play runs Friday through Sunday with action beginning at 9 a.m. each day. The tournament field includes Alabama State, Jackson State, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Loyola (N.O.), New Orleans, Nova Southeastern, Southern Miss, Troy and ULM.
 
The Cajuns will have four representatives in action including sophomores Juliette Clement, Nicole Breaux and Eleanor Bradshaw. Freshman Julie Cremers will make her Ragin' Cajuns debut this weekend.
