LAFAYETTE, La. – The Ragin' Cajuns softball program is holding fall developmental camps for kids in grades second through eighth in the month of September to enhance their skills and learn from coaches and players from the UL softball program.
The camps will be hosted on Saturdays with the first one scheduled on September 8. Three additional camps will be held on September 15, 22 and 29. Each session will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will be located at Lamson Park.
The sessions are open to players between the grades of two through eight. Cost to attend the camp is $100 for all four sessions or $25 per session.
Participants are advised to bring a glove, cleats, bat, practice clothes, tennis shoes, helmet and catchers should supply their own gear.

The announcement comes a week after head coach Michael Lotief released the schedule of the high school developmental camps, which will be held on Sunday, September 9, 16, 23 and 30.
