Orgeron and Team USA Set for World Cup

LAFAYETTE, La. – Ragin' Cajuns softball All-American Christi Orgeron and the rest of the USA National Team will begin play in the World Cup of Softball on Thursday against Puerto Rico in Oklahoma City, Okla. at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com.
Orgeron is the first player to represent UL on the USA National Team and is playing in the World Cup for the second consecutive season after helping Team USA to the gold medal last summer.
Along with Puerto Rico, the US will face Australia, Netherlands, Canada and Brazil over the course of the tournament.
Fans can purchase tickets by calling 800-654-8337 or visiting Softballoutlet.com. Tickets will also be available at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium ticket booth during the event.
All five of Team USA's contests in the World Cup, plus the championship game will be broadcasted on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPN3.com. The complete televised schedule is listed below:
