NCAA's TOP OFFENSE
The Cajuns led the nation in scoring last year and are well on their way to repeating the accomplishment this year. UL tops the country in both runs scored (290) and runs scored per game (9.5). 
 
COUNTDOWN TO 800
Ashley Brignac ranks fourth in school history with 764 career strikeouts. The River Ridge, La. native needs to punch out 49 more hitters to pass Kim Eisnaugle (1983-86, 812) for third on the list.

 
ORGERON BREAKS RBI RECORD
Senior Christi Orgeron broke the school RBI record by blasting her third grand slam of the year in the nightcap against Georgia Tech (3/22), passing Danyele Gomez on the list . Orgeron, who led the nation in 2011 with the third highest total in NCAA history with 101 RBI, ranks seventh in NCAA history with 254 in her career and leads the country this season with 60. 
 
CARDIAC CAJUNS
Louisiana has trailed in 11 of their 31 games this year and have rallied to win in all but one. The squad overcame a seven-run deficit against Georgia Tech and was down four runs to both Houston and North Texas.

 
RUN PRODUCING MACHINES
UL features four players in the top 30 on the nation's RBI per game list. Christi Orgeron (1.94) leads the country, while fellow teammates Nerissa Myers (1.23, 12th), Matte Haack (1.19, 16th) and Paige Cormier (1.1, 25th) join her on the list.

 
BEAT THE STREAK
After seeing her season-best 14 game hitting streak snapped, Katie Smith has hit safely now in 12 straight contests. Kelli Bruce owns the Ragin' Cajuns record of a 25 game hitting streak set back in 1999.

 
SERIES HISTORY
The Cajuns own a record of 94-24 against McNeese State and are currently riding a four game winning streak in the series after 6-0 victory over the Cowgirls on March 13.

 
MCNEESE STATE OUTLOOK
The Cowgirls are 21-10, including wins in six of their past eight contests. MSU's most notable win of the year was a 3-1 victory over then No. 1 Arizona State on Feb. 10.

 
COWGIRL OFFENSE
McNeese's Claire Terracinia  is batting .354 and has seven triples. Alanna DiVittorio and Kim Kennedy pace the squad with four homeruns apiece.

 
COWGIRL PITCHING
Meagan Bond (13-6) has recorded 111 strikeouts in 106.2 innings pitched. Bond has a 2.62 ERA with 11 complete games to her credit. Tiffany Denham (7-4) leads the Cowgirl staff with a 1.29 ERA and was the winning pitcher in the ASU win.


HOW THE CAJUNS FARE IN THE SBC 
UL features the top hitter in the conference (Natalie Fernandez, .432), while they also boast the top four players in the league in hits (Katie Smith, 45), runs (Nerissa Myers, 49), and RBI (Christi Orgeron, 60).

NATION'S LONGEST HOME WINNING STREAK 
The Cajuns are undefeated at home this year and hold the nation's longest home winning streak of 33 games, dating back to last season.
 
CATCH HER IF YOU CAN
Erikka Murphy has stolen a school and SBC record 42 consecutive bases successfully and was last caught stealing on March 5, 2010 at Arkansas. Murphy is 67-of-68 (.985) in stolen bases in her career.
