WALLACE SETS NCAA MARK
Jordan Wallace became the first freshman pitcher to begin her career 21-0 after a 10-2 victory over FAU in the nightcap of the doubleheader on Saturday. Wallace surpassed Amanda Scarbrough's record of 20-0, which was set her freshman year at Texas A&M in 2005. Wallace was also credited with throwing the 80th no-hitter in Ragin' Cajuns history, with a 9-0 victory over Lousiana Tech (2/19).

ORGERON TIES GRAND SLAM RECORDS
Christi Orgeron tied Serena Settliemier (Kansas, 2006) for the NCAA single season record with her sixth grand slam of the year last Saturday against FAU. She also is tied with Francesca Enea (Florida, 2007-10) with nine slams in her career.

ORGERON SITS SIXTH ON CAREER RBI LIST
The senior broke the school RBI record against Georgia Tech (3/22) and leads the country for the second consecutive season with 83 this year. She ranks sixth all time in NCAA history with 277 in her career - just 16 shy from equaling fifth place.

ECLISPING 40 WIN MARK
With the sweep over the weekend, the Cajuns have eclipsed the 40 win mark for the 20th time in the last 21 seasons. UL has reached 50 wins nine times in program history, while recording 60 wins just once (2004).

CAJUNS SWEEP WEEKLY SBC HONORS
Christi Orgeron was named the Sun Belt Hitter of the Week for the fourth time and Jordan Wallace recieved her third Pitcher of the Week acolades. The Cajuns have racked up 11 Player of the Week Awards from the conference this season.

MYERS PACES COUNTRY IN RUNS
The junior shortstop leads the nation with 67 runs scored this season, a year after tying the UL mark for runs  in a season, with 77 in 2011.

BRIGNAC CLIMBING THE RECORD BOOKS
Ashley Brignac picked up career wins 87 and 88 against FAU and is third on the UL all-time wins list. The senior also ranks second in both win/loss percentage (.822) and strikeouts per seven innings (8.37). Brignac has 799 career strikeouts and is seeking to become just the fourth Cajuns pitcher to record 800 strikeouts in her career. She needs to punch out 14 more hitters to pass Kim Eisnaugle (1983-86, 812) for third on the list.

UL GRAND SLAMS
Nerissa Myers launched her third grand slam of the year on last weekend. The two slams hit by Myers and Orgeron gave the Cajuns a season total of 10 on the season.

NATIONS LONGEST CURRENT HOME WINNING STREAK
Louisiana holds the nation's longest home win streak of 39 games, dating back to last season. The UL record is 53 straight during the 1993-94 seasons.
