UL-ASU Postponed, Doubleheader Sunday

The middle game of the weekend Sun Belt series between Louisiana and Arkansas State scheduled for Saturday was postponed due to inclement weather in Jonesboro.

The two teams will makeup the game as part of a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m., at Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field.

Rain showers began falling at 12 Noon and continued until 3 p.m. It was then determined that field conditions were not suitable for play.

Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader will feature Louisiana's Jordan Nicholson (1-1, 2.45 ERA) against Arkansas State's Jacob Lee (1-2, 1.89 ERA). Game 2 will see the Cajuns' T.J. Geith (1-2, 4.66 ERA) face off against the Red Wolves' Brad Allen (2-1, 3.48 ERA).
