Play-by-play announcer Jay Walker has served as the "Voice of the Ragin' Cajuns" since 1991. He handles the play-by-play duties for Cajuns football, men's basketball and baseball.

A broadcasting veteran since 1971, the native New Englander has spent his entire broadcasting career in southwest Louisiana.

His sports background includes years of broadcasting high school sports, while also serving as the television play-by-play voice of Ragin' Cajuns athletics from 1984-91 before joining the radio network.

He is the host of the popular sports talk show, "Bird's Eye View," which airs Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. on ESPN 1420 AM.
