Ragin' Jazz Earn National Title at College Classics

Louisiana claims first national title in Division I Large Hip-Hop
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Jazz made program history this past weekend, capturing the Division I Large Hip-Hop National Championship at the College Classics in Orlando, Florida. The title marks the first national championship in program history.

The Ragin' Jazz delivered a standout performance against top collegiate competition from across the country to secure the championship, highlighting a dominant showing on the national stage.

In addition to the national title, Louisiana earned several other notable honors during the competition. The team was crowned DTU Hip-Hop Battle Champions, an exclusive, invite-only event featuring the top routines across all divisions in each category. Louisiana's performance topped all hip-hop divisions to claim the title.

The Ragin' Jazz also finished as runners-up in Division I Large Jazz, with their routine earning the third-highest score across the entire competition, regardless of division. Louisiana added another runner-up finish in the DTU Game Day category to cap a highly successful weekend.
