Women Beat Texas Arlington 5-2

The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team knocked off the University of Texas at Arlington 5-2 on Thursday afternoon.
The Cajuns (7-7) won two of the three doubles matches to win the doubles point, then went on to win four of the singles matches.
Audrey Wooland won after Monika Hadvigerova retired in the third set. Julie Mazinova beat Klara Jagosova 6-2, 6-1. Briggitt Marcovich defeated Katarina Mlcochova 2-6, 7-5, 3-2 (13-11). Mia Gordon beat Daiana Negreanu 4-6, 6-4, and was up 1-0 in the third set before Negreanu retired.
The Cajuns will wrap up their three-game Texas road trip with a match against North Texas on Friday. First serve is slated for 3 p.m.
