Women Fall to North Texas 6-1

The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team finished its three-game Texas road trip on Friday with a 6-1 loss to No. 74 North Texas.
For the Cajuns (7-8), it's only the second loss in five weeks.
The Cajuns won one of the doubles matches, but lost the other two to lose the doubles point. The team of Julie Mazinova and Mia Gordon won the doubles match for the Cajuns.
In singles play Briggitt Marcovich was the lone winner for the Cajuns, knocking off Barbora Vykydalova at the No. 3 spot 3-6, 6-3, 10-8.
The Cajuns return home to face Southeastern on Sunday in a make up match in which they've already won the doubles point. That match is slated to start at 1 p.m.
