Women Fall to Rice 6-1 on Road

The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team lost its first game in more than a month and a half on Tuesday afternoon as they fell to Rice 6-1 in Houston.
The Cajuns (6-7) had won their last four games and had two postponed allowing them to remain unbeaten for so long.
For the Cajuns, it was Julie Mazinova who earned the lone singles victory, defeating Julie Chao 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the come-back win.
The Cajuns did win a doubles match, as Audrey Wooland and Milou Israel knocked off Rebekka Hanle and Rebecca Lin 8-5. However, the Cajuns lost the doubles point.
The Cajuns will continue on their Texas swing as they take on UT-Arlington on Thursday afternoon.
