Louisiana to Play WKU in SBC Quarterfinals

Louisiana (17-15, 7-9 Sun Belt) earned a berth in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament for the first time since 2002. UL 3-1 lost to UALR in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in 2002. There have been a lot of firsts for the Ragin' Cajuns this season, including reaching 10 wins at home for the first time since 1988 and securing the team's first winning season since 2002.
Western Kentucky (25-7, 14-2 Sun Belt) finished second overall in the Sun Belt after posting a 14-2 record in league play. WKU defeated UL 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-9) on Oct. 22.
The championship will be held November 18 through 20 on the campus of Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro, Tenn. All games will be available for webstream on SBC Extra and fans can purchase a tournament pass for only $9.95 to tune-in. The championship match at 3 p.m. (CT) will also be broadcast by the Sun Belt Network (times subject to change due to television demands).
