The match is scheduled for 7 p.m., at the Gold Dome on the Centenary campus.
This week wraps up 15 consecutive matches away from home for the Cajuns (5-6). On Thursday and Friday, the Cajun will participate in the Northwestern State Tournament at Prather Coliseum in Natchitoches before making their home debut Saturday, Sept. 26 against Arkansas State.
The Cajuns are coming off a 2-1 showing at the McNeese State Invitational which earned the squad its second tournament runner-up spot of the season. Louisiana knocked off Texas-Pan American and Prairie View A&M before falling to host-McNeese in the finale.
Leading the offensive charge for the Cajuns is Amie Goodwin with 107 kills, while Ariel Krolikowski is second on the team with 80 kills. Kendra Hall leads the team in assists with 324 and became just the third player in school history to record career assist No. 3,000 doing so in the McNeese mach last Saturday.
Goodwin accounted for 44 kills over 12 sets for a 3.67 kills per set average and posted a .265 hitting percentage at McNeese. It marked the second straight week that she led the Louisiana offense.
Sophomore Lesley Mirarchi stepped up and produced 31 kills over 12 sets including a career-high 16 against Prairie View.
Lindsay Brown continued to post double figures in digs, reaching the mark all three times at McNeese. Brown has posted double figures in 10 of 11 matches this season and in 23 of her last 25 appearances on the court.
Jennifer Kunze leads Centenary (1-9) in kills with 64. Jaclyn Lopez leads the team in assists with 123, as well as in aces with 13. On defense it's Bethany Kern with 92 digs to lead Centenary.
UL has never lost to Centenary and leads the all-time series 11-0. The two programs last met in 2005 at Earl K. Long Gym in Lafayette with UL sweeping the Ladies in the Scott Clause Advertising Classic.
Tuesday's match marks the Cajuns' first at the Gold Dome since Sept. 21, 1999.
