Cajuns Ready for Busy Weekend

LAFAYETTE ? It's going to be a busy weekend for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns giving fans plenty of chances to watch their favorite team in action.

The weekend begins on Friday as the baseball team starts a three-game series with Sun Belt-leader Middle Tennessee at 6:30 p.m., at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field.

Saturday is the highlight day of the weekend. It starts with Cajun Fingerprints and the football team's spring game which both begin at 12 Noon.

Cajun Fingerprints is a free fingerprinting service provided by the University of Louisiana's student-athletes in conjunction with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department and is available to children ages 3-12. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cajun Fingerprints will be held on the incline near Gate A of Cajun Field. After getting their fingerprints taken, fans can walk through Gate A and view football's spring game.

In the event of rain, Cajun Fingerprints will be moved to the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility.

Also on Saturday, the baseball team plays the middle game of its series with Middle Tennessee at 2 p.m., while the softball team meets FIU in a doubleheader at 3 p.m., at Lamson Park. The baseball game will be televised on MyKLAF and the first game of the softball doubleheader will be televised by CST.

The weekend concludes Sunday with women's tennis hosting South Alabama at Cajun Courts at 10 a.m., softball at noon and baseball at 1 p.m. The softball game will be televised by MyKLAF.
