ORLANDO, Fla. ? Louisiana Ragin' Cajun women's tennis team put their two-match winning streak on the line Friday morning against the UCF Knights, but could not continue their streak, losing 4-3. 

The Knights won two out of the three doubles sets and grabbed a 1-0 lead into the singles portion of the match.  UL's Angela Dangond and Milou Israel improved to 7-1 on the season in doubles play as they defeated Alexis Rodriguez and Taylor Dubins by an 8-3 count. 

The Ragin' Cajuns (7-9) won three of the singles sets.  Angela Dangond defeated UCF's Jenny Frisell 6-3, 6-4. Dangond collected her ninth singles victory and fifth at the No. 1 position.

Julie Mazinova beat UCF's Andrea Yacaman 6-1, 6-2. Mazinova extended her personal win streak to eight and also picked up her ninth singles victory to remain unbeaten (8-0) at the No. 2 position.

UL's Milou Israel defeated UCF's Elvira Serrot 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 (9-7) to earn the Cajuns their third point.

The Knights (9-8) won the three other matches in straight sets, giving them a 4-3 match victory. 

The Cajuns continue their Florida weekend trip as they travel to Miami to take on No. 42 FIU on Saturday, March 28 at 10 a.m. (CST) then finish the trip on Sunday, March 29 at Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, Fla.
