Loyola Marymount Upends Cajuns 4-3

Los Angeles, Calf. - Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team came out on the wrong end in their first of three matches in California Sunday. UL lost 4-3 and now falls to 0-5 on the young season. Louisiana started out well winning the doubles point, however in the singles portion the Cajuns were only able to win two out of the six matches.
UL's Milou Isreal and Angela Dangond were able to pick up singles wins for the Cajuns. Both Isreal and Dangond won hard fought three set matches.
Isreal won 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 over Loyola's Jasmin Heckel. Dangond beat Loyola's Jane Pringle 6-2, 3-6, 6-2. It was both players second win of the season.
The Cajuns continue their California getaway Tuesday when they take on CS Northridge at 2:00 p.m.
