CS Northridge Squeaks By Cajuns 4-3

Northridge, Calf. ? Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team came up just short against CS Northridge, losing the match 4-3. Freshman Tara Vasovic had her hand in two of the Cajuns points in the match. It was Vasovic's first win of her UL career.
Vasovic won her doubles match with teammate Marina Ruiz de Gauna 8-5. In her singles match Vasovic won in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.
Also picking up wins for the Cajuns were Angela Dangond and Mia Gordon. Both Gordon and Dangond won in straight sets.
It was the Cajuns third 4-3 loss of the season. The Cajuns are now 0-6 on the season.
The Cajuns will attempt to pick up their first win of the season Wednesday when they finish their California trip with a match against UC Irvine. The Anteaters are currently ranked 60th in the latest ITA poll.
Following the Cajuns match with Irvine they will host LSU Saturday at 2 p.m.
