Cajuns Come Up Short

The Cajuns had a chance 10 minutes in the game when Heather Fuller tried to feed Chelsea Balestra but the pass was just a step ahead of Balestra and
The Ragin' Cajuns opened the scoring in the 20th minute when Fuller hit Kelli Jestes on a pass at the top of the box. Jestes beat the keeper to the ball and headed it around her before putting the ball in the back of the net. Jestes' goal put her in a tie for UL's career goals record with 12 all-time.
With 11 minutes left in the first half
The Wolves opened up the scoring in the second half in the 78th minute Weston made a brilliant save that found the left foot of Taryn Hemmings; who put it in the back of the empty net. Unfortunately that was how the game ended and the Cajuns fell to 0-2 in conference play.
