Smith, Cajuns Finish Fifth at Indian Classic

JONESBORO, Ark.-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's golf team put together another stellar round at the ASU Indian Classic to finish the tournament in fifth place. Senior Michael Smith (
The Ragin' Cajuns received four sub-par performances to drop to 20 under par for the tournament and move into fifth place. The Cajuns entered the day in a tie for seventh place. UL dropped six strokes in the final round counting two rounds of 70 and two rounds of 71 on the final day of competition.
The Cajuns finished 10 strokes back of tournament winner Austin Peay (-30).
Smith finished the tournament in fifth place with his nine-under par performance. The senior finished four strokes back of tournament winner Tyler Thompson of
