Men?s Tennis Falls to Troy, 4-2

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to conference opponent Troy Sunday at the Sun Belt Shootout. The Cajuns fell to 6-10 on the season, while Troy moved to 5-11.

In singles play, the Cajuns were able to pick wins at Nos. 2 and 4. At No. 2, freshman Piotrek Olechowski defeated Mario Silva 6-2, 6-2. Junior Arlen Domoney bested Bastian Maucher 7-6, 6-4 at No. 4.

In doubles action, Piotrek Banas and Olechowski defeated Silva and Marcher 8-6 at No. 1, but Troy clinched the point after winning at Nos. 2 and 3.

The Cajuns will face Texas-Arlington in Arlington on Saturday, April 12. The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
