Cajuns Set for Winner Take All Showdown

COLLEGE STATION, Texas-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns baseball team conducted one final practice before their show down with No. 1 seed and tournament host Texas A&M at Olsen Field.

The Cajuns and Aggies will take the field against each other at 6:30 p.m.  The winner advances to the NCAA Super Regionals to face No. 2 overall seed Rice. 

 

UL and Texas A&M have met twice during the College Station Regional.  The Cajuns claimed the first game 5-4, but fell 4-1 on Sunday night to force the pivotal deciding game. 

 

The Ragin' Cajuns have not advanced to the Super Regional round of the post-season since the College World Series season in 2000.
