TU (8-9) snapped a four-matching losing streak while the Cajuns (6-10) continued their recent slide as they dropped their fourth straight and 10th in the last 12 matches.

UL Lafayette was on the short end of things despite placing three players with double-digit kills and two with double-doubles. Stacey Cole led all Cajuns with 12 kills and 16 digs as she extended her streak of matches with at least 12 kills to 13. Freshman Lesley Tough (11 kills) and Clarice Laires (10 kills and 10 digs) were the Cajuns other two in double-figure kills.
